A couple of months ago I, and you I suspect, would have said no chance. For sure there is little hope that our heroes can pull off a massive shock. But we seem more together, more cohesive than we have for a while. Our defence has been transformed by the giant that is Agbadou and we seem to have more depth on the bench to switch things as necessary.
Vítor is threatening to go for their jugular and it may work. They are scary going forward but they do give you chances so the question is, can we take them.
Defeat at lowly Plymouth Argyle and disappointment in the midweek derby will hopefully have shaken their confidence a little and we can rattle them more with a hard earned victory.

Forest and Fulham both playing for Europe. Meanwhile Wolves fighting to stay up and almost certainly will lose our Talisman in the summer again.
Good news is PPG indicating 26 points will now keep you up. Now on a par with what happened last season in the bottom 3 teams. (27 points would have been sufficient to keep a team up,). Fair to say the battle remains between Leicester Ipswich and Wolves. At this moment in time 3 wins will keep WWFC in the premier League.

In liverpool for the game staying with a good friend who is an ipswich supporter. He is obviously pleased with todays result. Wishvwe could both stay up.
As for tomorrow!, Hoping for a good performance to keep the good momentum going. Wolves 2 liverpool 1.
Will be going round after the match to friends who live by the ground and are if course liverpool supporters so even more need for a good result.

Just watched the first half and what a disgusting little oik that Diaz is diving like an Olympic medallist and as for konate three blatant yellow cards only one begrudgingly given ref probably in the scouse dressing room telling slot to substitute him as he can’t protect him anymore

The bar is certainly higher for getting a yellow card with that red shirt on.
I don’t think Jota did get a card for the dive and neither did Konate for kicking the ball away.
Unlike Jimenez up at the Etihad a few seasons ago.
Two yellows in about 30 seconds in very similar circumstances.
But on the upside, all the VAR cameras appear to working at Anfield now.

Taking the 96 minutes as a whole Wolves deserved a point. How did the referee give that second penalty on Jota. It was ridiculous. Luckily VAR saw it was a fraud by Jota. Proud of the boys. Even the biased Sky commentary said ‘Wolves just keep on coming’. We need 4 wins. Maybe a draw or two. Doesn’t help every week we are up against fucking useless gutless officials. But we will get there.

I don’t know if Jota tried to claim a penalty, but I don’t think he dived. Tried to avoid Agba’ if anything. Ref just couldn’t wait to give it.
We’ve had some shite refereeing in recent years but today took it to new levels.
I’ve seen it back on MOTD and I was wrong. Tom Daley would be proud.
