5 games - The escape route

Everton… Westham… Ipswich… Leicester…Man Utd…how many points do you reckon?

I think 11 …15 on the table

Or David Moyes ?

I would be happy with 9 points, but 10 would be very pleasing!

After last night’s results, the Everton game now becomes even more important. In spite of Evertons poor scoring record I would still start with 3 at the back and change.it later.

A poor start must be avoided at all costs!

What I’d like and what I expect are 2 completely different things we are capable of imploding to any one of those teams
The pessimist in me which is 90% says 6 points and then a winter vacation to shit creek ,shit I forgot the paddle
Troubling times

Current PPG after 14 games. Now showing 34 points as the safety mark. Wolves need to win 9 of 24 remaining to get to (or slightly above) the 34 point mark PPG is fluid and will change depending on whoever is 17th the points they currently have and games played. Current PPG for Wolves is 0.64 points per game. To get to 34 points we need to obtain 1.04 points per game from now on. An increase of 0.40 points per game. ( Or an increase of 2 additional points every 5 games).

Think Gaza’s unwittingly assigned himself to being the scapegoat,we’ve huffed and puffed to this position ever since Nuno ,I personally believe uncle Jorge has got to shoulder a lot of the blame with his devious dealings ie Silva Guedes and to a lesser extent Sarabia all on 90k with only half a dozen decent games between them all will leave at a loss
Fosun whilst putting their hand in their pocket have in my opinion been ill advised and misdirected at every opportunity due to their naivety of running a football club,I’d say if they could get out they would but football club buyers arnt queuing up to throw their money down a bottomless pit .
A new manager is on the cards but I think he would have to be a special person to instil belief and confidence into the beleaguered defence and I don’t see to many of those on the market.
On a lighter note Steve Corica within 6 months has bought and trained a completely new team in the Aussie A league his record to date played 5 won5 goals against 0 when/if we drop down he might be a suitable candidate

Lots of bleating on Molineux Mix 'should never have let Nuno go". I remember having a massive argument on the blog in support of Nuno. There was a significant groundswell against him. Spare me the crocodile tears and I told you so.

Except they’re on the way up and we, as I recall, were on the way down.
To me, Nuno looked exhausted on the touchline by the time he left. A manager is only as good as the backing he gets from the owners and Fosun were already tightening the purse strings even then.
Nuno is one of the best around and it’s very unlikely that we will attract anyone even half as good until our financial situation improves.
