Here we go. The final eleven games. I sincerely believe we need just TWO wins. Saints Ipswich Leicester all to come. It’s up to us. The last few weeks have seen Leicester and Ipswich repeatedly fail to close the gap because THEY ARE FUCKIN SHITE. I am backing Wolves to stay up purely because the opposition are shit. The lowest ever total to stay up was 34 points . Our dearly beloved down the road. Everton home. It won’t be pretty and I predict 1-1. Which will be great. So COME ON ME BABBIES. Let’s get the 2 or 3 wins asap. Then we can sit back. Light a cigar and watch the fuckin stress over at Sandwell Town as they fuck the play offs up.
Also forgot to add RIP Brian James of The Damned. The genius behind the first ever punk single ‘New Rose’. Saw The Damned on numerous occasions. Always entertaining with Captain Sensible giving you some banter. Sad news.
A couple of months ago you would have expected us to turn the Toffees over on our own patch. But they have been reborn under Moyes and few teams play them confident of winning.
So, a tough test in prospect.
On the upside however, much good news on the injury front with virtually all the first teamers who have been cluttering up the club doctor’s office back fit and firing. They’ll all need some get-up-to-speed time but at least they’re available options. Vítor seemed very happy in his presser.
So, in a victory of optimism over realism, I’m saying 3-1 to the Wolves and three more points to the yawning chasm between us and the bottom three.
COYW
We need to get more points on the board, as if we slip up when we play the bottom three, if we lose against them, then relegation will be a real possibility!
This game will be a game of fewest mistakes, and that team will win! Will be close, and yes the team must fully focus without Cunha.
A very close game— Wolves to win 1-0.
I had started to look forward to games again thinking we could give most teams a game. Then after the last few, i am back to just praying for at least a point.
I hope we can play today with energy and look like we want to win. The loss of Cunha is huge but the other players need to up their game. Hope Agbadou and Gomes are fit enough to play.
Unfortunately Moyes is doing a great job so a win will not be easy.
Will be clutching my pearls for this one
Still mystified by Cunhas red mist attack ,… such a plonker
But no excuses if we can’t do better than two promoted teams over next 11 games and with a 51/2 point start
A draw ok today lads
Let’s play fast and hard
1-1
Me thinks
Psychic you are Marin.
Decent enough point. At least VP has us organised. We are not conceding 2.5 goals per game anymore. Just need more invention around the final third and we will be a half decent team. I make it 14 points from 11 games under VP. A great improvement overall. I reckon one more win and a couple of draws will be enough.
I think that was better than I expected, let’s hope Chelsea turn up tomorrow and theArse spank united, wouldn’t it be a great end to the season if we could finish above ushited but normally when we get close we go in opposite directions
Everton came to park the bus.
Literally I was crossing the ring road and when the lights changed to red the Everton team bus was parked across the crossing. I gave the driver a few words.
Although everton looked pretty rubbish with Agbadou at the back with toti and doc we looked defensively strong.
Rather a strong defense than a one off wonder goal, I am now more positive for the remaining matches with Agbadou, toti and doc.
One two three – Agbadou, do, do, toti gomes and the irish man to
Agbadou, I feel, has helped to transform our defence since he arrived. Toti was magnificent last night too which I suspect may be to do with Agbadou’s presence giving him the confidence to try stuff.
However, defending is a whole team endeavour and I thought the two midfielders, Andre and young Joao, were absolute monsters. They’re really clicking together as a unit and Andre in particular last night scarcely put a foot wrong.
We showed quality all over the pitch against a team who are bang in form and the prospects are looking brighter with or without Mateus Cunha.
Let’s hope we beat Ipswich. They’ve beaten us twice on the trot, so they owe us a win and three points!
Yes, something really wound Cunha up as they had to drag him to the dressing room… unless of course he needs an anger management course. I hope VP gave him a good talking to about being selfish and not thinking before he flies off the handle.
He was like a cat on hot bricks watching the Everton game wasn’t he?
Agbaduo was brilliant last night. I reckon we have got a star in this chap. They always say build from the back. Sort the defence out. We just need to win one more game and a couple of draws. The PPG for Leicester/Ipswich’ points to 23/24 points. 25 will keep you up as it stands !
So was I. Totally stressed out.
Nah Wolfie… but I try😎
