I guess we all will have our own opinions about the last transfer window. Prior to it’s opening, some thought Fosun, and Jeff of course, would sell poor Vítor right down the river, flogging off our best and replacing them with, if anyone at all, a load of cheap dross.
Now the window has slammed shut we can now assess our work.
Cunha, Ait Nouri, Joao Gomes et al still shining in the Old Gold. New boy Agbadou, already excellent, improving with every game. And at the death, two more new faces. Djiga and Munetsi are promising signings though, as ever, only time will tell.
The marmalization of the Vile showed us what our team is capable of. Surely, or hopefully at least, our new additions will be just the tonic to lift us up the table.
The future is bright. The future is Old Gold.
And most surprisingly we were the second biggest spenders in this transfer window at around 42.5 M pounds. Now cautiously optimistic.
The next game is against Liverpool I believe, there won’t be a much tougher test than that!

I didn’t imagine they would buy cheap… hey they can screw up buying expensive ( boy prince still sunning himself in Canaries)… but getting gazumped by Spuds was a bit embarrassing
On the whole I’m in the rather relieved camp… still issues to solve ( fullbacks) for next year… but even then we might see return of a better Bueno
But it’s one game at a time, one point at a time until we get another 19. it’s doable but next two away games aren’t kind.
Still thinking we will be celebrating ( whatever) in the Combermere come Maytime

It was great to hear from both lads how thrilled they are to be in the Prem at Wolves. Compare and contrast to the wanker Danso who had no respect whatsoever for the great name of Wolverhampton Wanderers FC. I know who I would want in the relegation battle trenches. And it’s not fuckin Danso. Welcome to Nasser and Marshall to the great institution that is Wolves FC.
