It’s been a terrific run of results over the last few weeks. Though, when looked at individually, there was little surprise in us winning any of the six games, to have won them all without any sort of hitch, has been remarkable.
But number seven is a different kettle of fish. Away at Citeh is always a daunting prospect, especially when they seem to have rediscovered the form which has seen them steamroller the opposition year after year. Both on the pitch and in the transfer market.
However, our squad must be feeling full of confidence after recent successes and, with the pressure of relegation long gone, we will be able to play with freedom and attacking intent.
If we can get the win in this to continue our scintillating recent run, it will be an achievement almost unmatched in our recent history. I feel that Vítor and the players definitely have it in them to do just that.
Citeh 1 v 2 Wolves

Well said Wolfo
Yep tomorrow will be a good benchmark for old gold & black.. no Traore to run them ragged… but they are still vulnerable to
Fast break… can we mount some of them maybe with Cunha?
Think Nuno dropped one by not playing Elanga at Wembley ….. then he missed the sitter start of second half … but that’s the trick vs Citeh
Meantime did you see the Inter / Barca game?
That’s football at its most pure and sublime
No cynical crap ( as per Arse and Citeh) just speed and unbelievable skills
If we want to be good then it’s technical
Skills and speed that are crucial .. hey why not?
Half the team already qualify in my view…
Meantime let’s finish this season strong and demonstrate what fun next few years can be
Darkness has GONE
Keep the light shining Vitor!

There were many banana skins in the six matches and I, like you, were surprised that non materialised.
I am looking forward to Citeh to see how Wolves have improved and progressed a draw or win would be a fantastic result.
Even Chris sutton has predicted a wolves goal and a close result.
Our secret weapon is Agbadou.
All match reports since Agbadou joined have rated him as 5 or 6 out of 10 and making mistakes.
Every match I have streamed or watched with Agbadou playing he has been immense providing the integration and glue between himself, Toti and Doc that has really strengthened the defence.
Their confidence with each other is off the scale.
The opposition have not yet caught on to how good this combination actually is.
The opposition seems surprised when Agbadou is in the right position to stop an attack during most of the game.
OK he makes the odd mistake but the others are there to pick up the pieces and how many games has he played in this league?
The midfield and attack have also been superb and will always score goals and now the defence stops us conceding we feel like a good footballing unit.
My prediction is 1-0 to the Wolves with Pep blaming the shape of the ball.

A great opportunity to keep this unprecedented run alive. If we play like how we have been playing over the past 6 games, there is no reason why we cannot keep the winning streak going!
Man C have stared to play reasonably well. If we do not win, I do hope it is not because of back luck, like a deflection, but that we gave it our best shot.
Indeed, it is very rare that going into game against City, that we consider ourselves as an equal and not as underdogs!
Good luck to the lads and fingers crossed they will do us proud.

Yes good results today, our last three matches, two winnable at home and one away where the opposition will be playing and losing in a cup final three days previously. Got 7 points written all over it putting us on 48 points and hopefully in 12th place.

That would be lovely, of course, but Brighton and Brentford are both chasing a european spot so will be no pushovers.
Yes Brentford have achieved impressive results of late. It will be some achievement if we can at least match the tally from last season where 46 points were attained. If you think about where we were in mid December when VP arrived with 9 points from 16 games that would be a very creditable outcome.
