Pedro farewell and good luck

Continuing the discussion from Pedro Neto to Chelsea for £54m; a good deal?:

to be honest cheesy the player merry go round is something we all have to get used to .

No more john richards or stevie bull seeing out their careers the football world has changed and its now more about matt hobbs to get the replacements right and do the deals that keep the club up there with the rest .

The responsibility on that guys shoulders is now immense and he will earn every penny of his wages if he gets it right .

Up to now he’s done ok so lets see .

good deal in my eyes.

Agree mate. Getting 54 million is sound. To be fair to Jeff he got 52 million MGW. 45 million Max. 54 million Neto. Some may say we got an extra 50 million for that lot.

I think in the round, we’ve done pretty well in the transfer market under Fosun. With a few obvious exceptions of course.

Well we all knew that was going to happen just a surprise it was the rent boys that got him,
Gazza would have already planned for this day ,and at least it’s not on dead line day
I think chiquinio could step up ,but let’s hope Guedes isn’t in the equation it would take a lot more than a couple of friendlies to change my opinion of him after that Chelsea game

If we can get Guedes playing as he was before we bought him, he would be a massive bonus.
He seemed very motivated in the US friendlies.

All gone now. Thanks for the memories lads.

Great little video DG. All gone now but never to be forgotten. Hopefully, despite Saturday’s feeble effort, the new team can replicate some of the golden moments those three treated us to.

Not forgetting the £40M from Man City for Nunes

Good to see you here Brizzie.
The Nunes deal was probably the best of all, given how useless he was both for us and Citeh.

Cheers Steve. Not like Pep to make such a costly error but City can afford it.
