Bringing everything back earth. Just seen Gary Shaw of Villa has passed away. He was only 63. Sort of puts everything in to perspective. RIP Gary Shaw.

Agree about Gary Shaw Cheesey. Always an entertaining player whichever shirt he wore.
Not too concerned about our team yet though. Our poor results at the end of last season were largely down to an injury decimated forward line. This season we’ve had three games against moneybags clubs and we took a point at Forest away. I saw enough today to raise my hopes, not through the roof, but for sure off the floor.

Always a considered response Wolfie. I will see where we are at ten games. 8 to 10 points will be a bare minimum for me. Also. A correction about Gary Shaw. It seems there is confusion all over twitter. I understand he was seriously ill. That is as much as I know.

We played well against geordies the nxt 3 games we need 2 points and then we have easier games…
As good as Dawson is he needs a stronger centre back with him where we are weakest…Sa better goalie? Im not sure about our new man…
