Clearly VP has been working on our defensive capability. Limiting a free scoring Bournemouth to 1 goal in 2 home games over 220 minutes in open play. I think everyone agrees the concession of over 2 goals per game in the Prem is a recipe for disaster. VP is correct to build from the back. We are not going to score 3 or 4 goals every game to get 3 points. It might not be pretty but when you are down in a relegation dogfight it is essential. Shame we couldn’t see it out in penalties but on we go. 3 more wins for me from 11 will do it.

I’d like to know what wound him up so much, but on the face of it, he deserves what’s coming. Totally lost his head. Such a pity so late in the game too.
Whatever happens, someone will step into the breach and do the job for us. Rodrigo, Guedes,Hwang, who knows. But someone will.
Totally agree we’ve been down this road befor with Neves banned, we’ve got other players who give a different quality, and an alteration in how we get in the box may play in to Larsen s strengths,
We’re going to have to make do without him next season so we might as well get stuck in now, as Fosun will undoubtedly be reactive transfer wise in the winter as opposed to proactive in the summer
