New Manager Search

Well the search is on. It appears that we have approached 5 potential managers but all have declined. Why I am not surprised?

Who in their right mind would want to go to a team that will only sell to buy, to be in charge of a club that is self-sustaining!

While GON has not solved our awful defense and for that reason he really has to go, Fosun and Jeff Shi must also go.I for one would hope that on Saturdays game our fans make that position known to Fosun and Jeff Shi. Time for them to sell our club and be gone!

And to keep GON now knowing that you are almost certain to sack him just shows that Shi and Fosun are scared by the last experience when we could not get a manager for 5 to 6 weeks, and they truly lost face in the football world!

A couple of years ago we were bottom of the table at Christmas, brought in JL and spent very decent money and we stayed up. If we don’t spend significantly in this January as is believed, we are in massive trouble.

My apologies for this rant but the thought of Championship football next season primarily due to an erroneous football policies is a difficult pill to swallow.

I don’t feel we fans making our feelings known on a matchday cuts any ice with the owners whatsoever. What makes a difference with them is the bottom line and the massive dent relegation would make in our value.
If people must protest, I would rather they left it until the final whistle. I’ve seen nothing to suggest our team aren’t absolutely busting a gut to turn around our fortunes and while the match is on, they need and deserve every ounce of our support.
Ipswich is 100% the archetypal ‘must win’ game and I’ll do nothing in that vital ninety minutes to lessen their chances.
Won’t stop me moaning after though if we don’t get the three points.

100% make this a cup final atmosphere, if it turns to shit protest against fosun not the players if you get on their backs there will come a point of no return keeping the the players on board is crucial

Yep it’s a pisser

A club that almost confesses that no
Decent manager is interested in taking over and so tries to make a virtue of loyalty to GO’N

Ipswich are decent and against manure they looked very threatening
Delap is clearly a talent

They…. Like every other team we will
Play know that we are clueless against set pieces

That is no one else’s issue but GO’N

So if we are going down let’s go
Down

If we are mid table let’s win game after game

Kinda know which outcome is likely and will be there in May to witness Brentford deliver could p de grace

Try coup de grace

Whatever

Sad end to great few years

Swamp of championship awaits

Two digs at baggies each season

By then we might be able to defend corners

OODCL

Eventually ??

No VAR in the Championship Marin.:ok_hand:

They’ll introduce it just for us

Why is the defense so damn trash??? Is it just a result of selling Kilman and injuries??? I’m really confused. When GON tucks his tail and goes back 5 against top 6ish sides we usually do ok. Raul is scoring goals again! Nuno and MGW have Forest in good form! Pedro is a bit player for Chelsea. What a shambles as y’all say.

Nope WS. …Aren’t we owed some payback from VAR?

Whatever…feels like we are overdue a penalty that is awarded…Who takes? Larsen?

Will be watching us struggle to overcome Tractor Boys ,kick off 7am here…losing badly isn;t an option,is it?

Losing at all isn’t an option.
Big pressure on the lads at the moment so could all get a bit nervy if it doesn’t start well.
We can say they’re professionals so should handle the pressure and that’s true. But they’re human too.
However it goes today, I’ll be cheering them on till the end. And, at the end…Wolves 2 v 0 Them
COMB

So
That was odds on at the end
There’s no
Excuse for having ait nouri marking someone much taller
We’re inept
And embarrassingly weak … Semedo vs Delap

Let’s just get this over with and race Saints for the bottom

As we know a bounce back
Is no given

Not a well run club

The table and relegation don’t lie

Next up??

See you in May fur many beers

Sadly

Well, GON is gone! But the damage has been done It should have happened at least a couple of games ago. Nonetheless, we are where we are.

No experienced manager will come near us with Fosuns stupid philosphy, so it will be some unknown. I just hope he is a defensive genius because that is what it is going to take!

And the new guy will have to deal with the meltdown of Sa, Laminio, At Nouri and Cunha. It is a real mess and the finger points straight at the owners.

We live in hope!

To be honest I feel just a huge sense of relief.
The last four games have been so poor the team doesnt want to play for the shirt or the fans.

Put Sa and RAN on the transfer list for January.
FUND the new manager to buy 3 defenders that can play together.

What a shambles. Feel sorry for GON. Yes, he has to share the blame for seemingly being unable to get the defence into shape, but we all know that Fosun very badly let him down. The centre of defence is completely inadequate for PL football. Bueno and Toti are currently squad level only (need to be supported to develop and tested gradually) and Dawson is a great guy, but too old to do it on his own. At the start of this season he needed two top quality centre backs to play alongside as part of a back five. This should always have been the plan to maximise Ait-Nouri’s and Semedo’s natural wingbacks abilities. Johnstone not covered himself in glory yet but, in fairness to the guy, with the chaos immediately in front of him you can’t blame him for the lack of confidence and shaky start.

Despite our current woeful position, there is sufficient talent in this squad and enough games to pull clear of the relegation zone and I’m hoping therefore enough to attract a good manager. That is going to be dependent on Fosun absolutely committing to serious investment in the defensive resources of the team - and yes that is probably going to mean swallowing some pretty unpalatable contract conditions from any incoming. Do this and we have a chance. Don’t and it’s certain relegation, fire sale and frankly a strong chance of further free fall.

Pressed the wrong button and deleted everything! Oh well.

And there we have it,new manager we’re after no premier experience so he will have to get up to speed pretty damn quick and of course he’s got a cheap buy out clause I I think they might as well put him up in a hotel and tell him not to unpack
Hope I’m wrong
